In a striking demonstration of judicial favoritism, the Supreme Court’s majority effectively sanctioned Trump’s belief that he operates beyond the reach of the law—a notion bolstered by his return to the presidency. With this renewed power, Trump seems to have unleashed a chaotic torrent of thoughts, much to the dismay of governors across the nation who now find themselves on the front lines of his spiraling antics.

The bravest among them, Governor J.B. Pritzker of Illinois, did not mince words when he offered his unvarnished assessment of the president’s mental state, stating emphatically in an interview with The Chicago Tribune:

This is a man who’s suffering dementia. This is a man who has something stuck in his head. He can’t get it out of his head. He doesn’t read. He doesn’t know anything that’s up to date. It’s just something in the recesses of his brain that is effectuating to have him call out these cities. And then, unfortunately, he has the power of the military, the power of the federal government to do his bidding, and that’s what he’s doing.

In response to these stark assertions regarding his mental faculties, Trump held a White House event acknowledging his intent to combat the enigmatic “ANTIFA.” Strangely enough, he also proclaimed that Portland, Oregon, is now devoid of glass windows—an outlandish statement befitting the ongoing absurdity of his administration.
