Donald Trump Claims to Have Cut Ties with Jeffrey Epstein
Donald Trump has a different memory of events when it comes to his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. The former president insists that he was the one to cut ties with the disgraced financier. Earlier this year, Trump claimed that he had Epstein booted from his Mar-a-Lago resort after learning that his employees were being “stolen” from the spa.
Trump explained: “People that work in the spa, I have a great spa, one of the best spas in the world at Mar-a-Lago, and people were taken out of the spa, hired by Epstein. In other words, they were gone. And other people would come and complain, ‘This guy is taking people from the spa.’ I didn’t know that.”
The former president continued: “And then when I heard about it, I told him. I said, ‘Listen, we don’t want you taking our people.’ Whether it was a spa or not a spa, I don’t want him taking people. And he was fine.”
“Then, not too long after that, he did it again, and I said, ‘out of here.'” Trump claimed that he took a stand against Epstein and made it clear that he was not welcome at Mar-a-Lago.
These claims by Trump shed new light on the dynamics of his relationship with Epstein. While Epstein’s association with various high-profile individuals has been widely reported, Trump’s version of events presents a different perspective on the matter.
It remains to be seen how this revelation will impact the ongoing discussions surrounding Epstein’s controversial past and the connections he had with influential figures.
