Jen Affleck Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 4 With Husband Zac

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck and her husband, Zac Affleck, are set to welcome their fourth child.

Jen announced the joyful news by showcasing her baby bump in a series of photos shared on her Instagram on Thursday, June 18. She captioned the post, “Chapter Four. 🤍.”

The couple, aged 27 and 29 respectively, connected through the Mormon dating app Mutual in 2018. They married the next year and have since welcomed three children: Nora, aged 4, Lucas, aged 2, and Penny, who is 11 months old.

This pregnancy announcement follows two months of speculation about potential marital issues between Jen and Zac, fueled by Jen’s absence of a wedding ring in a tearful TikTok video where she spoke about her “next chapter.”

In an April video, Jen reflected on recent years, sharing that her family moved five times within a year. “Between two babies, reality TV show, Dancing With the Stars, moving, identity, faith, life crisis, I’m very hopeful for this next chapter of my life,” she expressed.

The Dancing With the Stars alum went on to say, “There are parts of me that I feel like have healed, and then there are parts of me where old patterns have shown back up. I’ve been hoping through my vulnerability that I can help heal myself. I’m hoping that in this next chapter of my life I can find my faith again … while also holding space for who I am at my core and not trying to change that.”

Reflecting on her early marriage and parenthood, Jen noted that she married at 19 and had her first child shortly after. She acknowledged that she never truly had the chance to discover who she was. “I’m still trying to figure that out. I just desperately want to be able to show up for my kids and show up as the best version of myself,” she stated.

Jen and Zac have previously shared their marital challenges, with the second season of Mormon Wives highlighting their temporary separation.

“We went through a lot of therapy. When I say a lot, I mean eight hours a week,” Jen revealed exclusively to Us Weekly in May 2025, ahead of the second season’s debut. “We really committed to it.”

She added, “We wouldn’t have managed season 2 — honestly, neither season 1 nor 2 — without therapy. Filming isn’t easy for Zac. It’s definitely a challenge for him to be open. So, he was really pushing himself to break through during the second season. Despite the difficult conversations on and off camera, it was ultimately beneficial.”
