The Real Housewives of Orange County star Jennifer Pedranti has addressed her son’s involvement in a recent neighborhood brush fire.
“I want to address the rumors regarding my son’s involvement in the Ladera Ranch fire,” Jennifer, 49, stated on her Instagram Story on Thursday, July 9. “He and others were involved. My ex-husband [Will Pedranti] and I take this very seriously. This behavior is unacceptable, and we deeply apologize to our community. This is a significant learning moment for our son and our family.”
Firefighters responded to two separate fires in Ladera Ranch, California, earlier this week, occurring within a span of three days.
According to the Orange County Fire Authority, a brush fire was swiftly contained to just 1.31 acres in the Orange County neighborhood on Sunday, July 5.
Two days later, a vegetation fire was reported in Ladera Ranch. Firefighters managed to contain the blaze to seven acres.
“Thank you to our community for your support while firefighters worked, and thank you to our partners at @OCSDSouthPatrol for helping keep residents safe, controlling traffic and providing access for emergency crews @OCFirefighters @CALFIRERRU,” the Orange County Fire Authority stated via X on Tuesday, July 7.
It remains unclear which fire Jennifer’s son was involved in. However, the Bravo reality star expressed her appreciation for the first responders who ensured that no homes were affected.

“We are very grateful that there was no property damage and no one was injured. The fire and police teams were outstanding and provided these boys with an unforgettable lesson,” Jennifer shared on her Instagram Story. “No arrests were made, but measures are being taken to address their actions.”
She further stated, “He will be attending a fire safety course to ensure such a mistake does not occur again. There are family consequences, and we will ensure our son learns from this incident.”
Jennifer has been featured as a full-time cast member on The Real Housewives of Orange County since season 17, which debuted in June 2023.
According to Bravo, Jennifer will “build a future with her fiancĂ© Ryan [Boyajian] while juggling a house full of teens” when season 20 begins on Thursday.
When asked about a potential wedding date, Jennifer told Us Weekly in June that she is content in her “engagement era.”
“It just hasn’t happened. We live together, and the kids are in the same house,” she explained. “I mean, we feel married. I just need to now make it official, and we just have not done that yet. It’s coming.”
