Joe Budden Calls Drake ‘Sack Of S***’ Over ‘Not Like Us’, UMG Lawsuit

Joe Budden has always been known for his outspoken nature, especially when it comes to his thoughts on other artists in the music industry. Recently, on his podcast, "The Joe Budden Podcast," he did not hold back when discussing Drake and the lawsuit he filed against Kendrick Lamar over the song "Not Like Us."

In a fiery rant, Joe Budden called out Drake, labeling him as a "lying, manipulative, sack of s***" who engages in shady behavior behind the scenes. According to Joe, Drake has a history of sneaking around and offering money to the baby mothers of his rap peers, a move that Joe finds despicable.

His co-host, Ish, chimed in to explain that Joe’s reaction to the lawsuit stems from his willingness to stand up against adversity, while Joe himself attributed it to Drake’s selfishness. Additionally, Joe hinted at a disturbing incident where Drake allegedly disregarded a producer whose mother had just passed away, further painting Drake in a negative light.

This controversy ties into the recent revelation by Metro Boomin, a prominent producer, who admitted that his involvement in the 2024 Rap Wars against Drake was fueled by personal issues. Metro’s mother tragically passed away in June 2022, and Joe claimed that Drake callously dismissed the producer’s grief, demanding his beats without any regard for his loss.

The tension between Drake and Metro Boomin escalated when the superproducer went missing while working on Drake’s upcoming album, "For All The Dogs," a project that Joe infamously criticized as "trash" upon its release.

The music industry is no stranger to drama and rivalries, but the animosity between Drake and his peers, as highlighted by Joe Budden and Metro Boomin, sheds light on the darker side of the industry. As this feud continues to unfold, it serves as a reminder of the complexities and conflicts that can arise in the world of hip hop.
