On a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan took a firm stand against certain progressive leftists who appeared to celebrate the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, branding their reaction as morally reprehensible.
Many Americans expressed their outrage at the responses from various left-leaning individuals, including teachers, who seemed to derive a sense of satisfaction from Kirk’s tragic fate, with some even suggesting he brought it on himself.
This sentiment resonated with Rogan, aligning with the views of many sensible citizens who were appalled by the murder. As reported by FOX News:
Weeks after learning of the murder of Charlie Kirk, podcaster Joe Rogan reflected on the disturbing celebration that followed from many so-called progressives. He stated, âThe Charlie Kirk thing fâ- opened up my eyes. I never expected so many people would celebrate that manâs murder.â
Brandon Coleman, lead singer of the Red Clay Strays, joined in, agreeing that the reaction was indeed evil. Rogan continued, âItâs just bizarre to see what many normal peopleâwho think of themselves as goodâare celebrating, as they genuinely believe Kirk was a bad guy. I donât agree with everything he said or did, but celebrating someoneâs death? That is not right.â
Rogan later expressed disbelief at Kirkâs youth at the time of his death, pointing out how the young activist was known for engaging in debates on college campuses, sparking ire among those who felt he obstructed societal progress in their eyes. âCheering over his deathânormal people, housewives, working professionalsâcelebrating a man being shot in front of his children? What is wrong with us?â he posed, capturing a profound sense of disillusionment.
