Indie Streamer Nebula Announces Star-Studded Cast for New Anthology Series
Nebula, the popular indie streaming platform, has revealed the leading actors for its upcoming anthology series titled “Sub/liminal.” The series, consisting of six episodes, is described as a blend of “The Twilight Zone” and “Black Mirror,” delving into power dynamics within human relationships and the consequences when these relationships become unbalanced.
The star-studded cast of “Sub/liminal” includes Joseph Cross, Lena Hall, Caissie Levy, Kecia Lewis, Patrick Page, and John Rubinstein, all of whom bring a wealth of talent and experience from Broadway and beyond.
Filming for the first season of “Sub/liminal” began on May 19, with a scheduled premiere in late 2025. The series features episodes written and directed by prominent creators from the Nebula platform, such as Patrick Willems, Amir Moini, Jacob Torpey, Jessie Earl, Joe Scott, Tom van der Linden, Matthew Kelly, and Tiana Michele.
In addition to the main cast, other notable actors joining the ensemble of “Sub/liminal” include Amir Arison, Geoffrey Cantor, Courtnee Carter, Ali Cobrin, and many more, bringing a diverse range of talent to the series.
Created by Nebula founder Dave Wiskus, “Sub/liminal” is executive produced by Oscar-winning producer Dan Jinks, known for his work on “American Beauty” and “Big Fish.” Wiskus expressed his excitement about the collaboration with the Broadway community, highlighting the shared passion for storytelling and creativity.
The casting for “Sub/liminal” was expertly handled by casting directors Benton Whitley and Micah Johnson-Levy of Whitley Theatrical, who played a crucial role in assembling the talented ensemble for the series.
