Josh Hokit emerged as a significant victor at Sunday night’s UFC Freedom 250 event, but his remarks during the post-match interview sparked controversy.
Following his victory in the heavyweight bout against Derrick Lewis on June 14, held on the White House lawn, Hokit was interviewed by Joe Rogan on the Paramount+ broadcast. Concluding the interview, Hokit unexpectedly exclaimed, “And lastly, Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right, America?”
Rogan appeared taken aback but did not respond further, simply stating, “Ladies and gentlemen, Josh Hokit.” The broadcast did not address Hokit’s comment any further.
