Introducing “Bullet/Bullet” – A New High-Stakes Anime Series Premiering on Disney+

After ten years of development, acclaimed director Park Sunghoo is set to unveil his latest creation, “Bullet/Bullet,” exclusively on Disney+. This post-apocalyptic adventure promises to captivate audiences with its thrilling storyline and unique characters.

The series follows Gear, a junk dealer who leads a double life as a skilled thief. Teaming up with Qu-0213, a multi-personality robot, and Shirokuma, a polar bear with a penchant for gambling, Gear embarks on daring heists until a chance encounter with a mysterious girl changes everything.

“Bullet/Bullet” is helmed by Park Sunghoo, known for his award-winning work on “Jujutsu Kaisen.” The script is penned by Aki Kindaichi, with character designs by Takahiro Yoshimatsu and concept art by Hidetaka Tenjin.

The stellar voice cast includes Marina Inoue as Gear, Kazuhiro Yamaji as Shirokuma, Rie Kugimiya as Nosa-Nee, and Kana Hanazawa as Kaw-Nee. Additionally, rapper Chanmina and rock band Newspeak provide the opening and ending themes for the series.

Disney+ will debut “Bullet/Bullet” in two parts, with the first eight episodes premiering on July 16 and the remaining eight episodes on August 13. The series joins Disney+’s lineup of original content from the Asia-Pacific region.

Park Sunghoo’s return to original anime with “Bullet/Bullet” is highly anticipated, following his success with “Jujutsu Kaisen” and “The God of High School.” Fans can expect a visually stunning and action-packed series that pushes the boundaries of storytelling.
