Julie Chrisley Helped Savannah Make Thanksgiving List at Visitation

Julie Chrisley may not be physically present at her family’s Thanksgiving table this year, but her daughter, Savannah Chrisley, is ensuring that her mother is still involved in the holiday preparations. In a heartfelt Instagram Story post on Saturday, November 23, Savannah shared how her mom helped her make a Thanksgiving list during a visitation.

The post featured a picture of three napkins with handwritten notes on them. One napkin labeled “Menu” listed dishes such as lasagna, spicy vodka pasta, and salad. The next napkin contained a detailed list of ingredients to include in the meal, such as chicken stock, pumpkin, and pecans.

Julie and her husband, Todd Chrisley, faced legal troubles in 2019 when they were indicted on tax evasion charges. In June 2022, they were found guilty of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud, and conspiracy. Initially, Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Julie received a 7-year sentence. Recently, a judge decided to uphold Julie’s original prison sentence of 84 months.

Amidst their parents’ legal battles, Savannah took on the responsibility of caring for her younger brother Grayson, 18, and niece Chloe, 12. Chloe is actually Todd’s biological daughter with his ex-wife, but she was adopted by Todd and Julie in 2016.

Reflecting on her parents’ imprisonment, Savannah penned an emotional letter expressing how it has affected Grayson and Chloe. She shared on her “Unlocked” podcast how both kids are struggling with anxiety, depression, and academic challenges despite her efforts to provide resources and support.

In the letter, Savannah revealed that Chloe has asked about Julie’s absence during important milestones in their lives. Savannah expressed the challenges of being a single woman running a one-income household and the pressure of balancing caregiving, legal battles, and financial responsibilities.
