Kane Brown was pleasantly surprised to be joined by Taylor Swift at Travis Kelce’s Tight Ends & Friends concert. The 31-year-old country singer took to Instagram to share a snippet of their unexpected duet, jokingly writing, “When you think you’re the special guest BUT you’re not 😂.”
The surprise performance took place in Nashville after other artists like Sophia Scott, Graham Barham, Chase Rice, Jordan Davis, and Luke Combs had already taken the stage. Brown teased the crowd about a “really, really special guest” before Swift appeared and performed her hit song “Shake It Off” with him.
In addition to supporting Kelce, whom she has been dating since 2023, this performance marked Swift’s first since reclaiming her masters last month. After her masters were sold to Scooter Braun in 2019, Swift had been re-recording her first six albums. She released Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version) in 2021, followed by Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and 1989 (Taylor’s Version). With the announcement of owning her masters, Swift expressed her excitement after years of setbacks.
Braun, in response to the news, expressed his happiness for her. Swift and Kelce have been spending time together during the NFL offseason, making their red carpet debut at Tight End University’s opening night party. Kelce, alongside George Kittle and Greg Olsen, founded the event, and the couple was seen showing PDA at the event.
As Kelce gears up for his 13th season with the Kansas City Chiefs, he encouraged attendees to mingle and connect at the unique event. The Tight Ends & Friends concert was a memorable night filled with surprises and special moments shared between talented artists.
