White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt caused a stir on Wednesday with her recent statement regarding Donald Trump.

In a press briefing, Leavitt was questioned about the Trump administration’s reported 15-point ceasefire proposal offered to Iran, specifically which aspects she considered inaccurate.

“Look, if you’ve heard it from the president of the United States, obviously it’s true,” Leavitt stated, emphasizing that the objectives of the White House’s so-called Operation Eric Fury, which officials have persistently avoided discussing, had already been detailed “from this podium” and by the Pentagon.

The remark “obviously it’s true” sparked a significant online response.

Numerous critics took to social media, employing laughing emojis, and highlighting past fact-checking of the president, including a Washington Post analysis that documented over 30,000 false or misleading claims made by Trump during his first term.
