Kelly Osbourne is sharing her feelings for the first time following her father Ozzy Osbourne‘s passing, using poignant lyrics from a Black Sabbath song to express her grief.
In her social media post, Kelly quoted the lyrics of the Black Sabbath song “Changes,” capturing her emotions in the wake of her father’s death.
Kelly’s message conveys her deep sense of loss, stating, “I feel unhappy, I am so sad. I’ve lost the best friend I ever had,” accompanied by a broken heart emoji.
The song “Changes” is a poignant piano ballad from Black Sabbath’s 1972 album “Vol. 4,” originally inspired by drummer Bill Ward‘s personal struggles.
Kelly’s rendition of “Changes” with Ozzy in 2003 became her first No. 1 single in the UK, and they performed the emotional ballad together on stage for years.
Following Ozzy’s passing on Tuesday, he was surrounded by his wife Sharon and their children, including Kelly, as he took his last breath.
Kelly also shared a heartwarming moment of her father on her Instagram Story, capturing him enjoying breakfast with the family at their home in England just days before his passing, showing him in good spirits.
