Kesha Cancels Concert Due to Texas Flash Flooding

Kesha made the difficult decision to prioritize the safety of herself and her fans amidst Texas’ deadly flash flooding event. The 38-year-old singer announced on social media that her scheduled concert at Dallas’ Dos Equis Pavilion had to be canceled due to the severe weather conditions.

Expressing her disappointment, Kesha thanked her fans for their support and understanding. She wrote, “I have been so excited for tonight and to celebrate my freedom with all of you, but due to the weather and the challenges faced by those in Texas, I have to put your safety first.” The “TiK ToK” star promised to reschedule the show for the following evening, with all tickets remaining valid for the new date.

As of the early hours of Wednesday, July 9, the death toll from the catastrophic flash flooding in Texas had surpassed 107, with over 160 people reported missing. Celebrities, including country singer Pat Green, have also been affected by the floods. Pat shared a heartbreaking statement on Instagram, revealing that his family had suffered a personal loss during the devastating flooding in Central Texas.

Pat’s wife, Kori Green, later confirmed the tragic news that Pat’s younger brother, John, and his family had been swept away in the Kerrville flood. The Green family is among the many Texans grieving the loss of loved ones and dealing with the aftermath of the natural disaster.

Tragedy Strikes Clark Hunt’s Family

In another heartbreaking incident, the family of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt faced a devastating loss. A nine-year-old girl who was part of the Hunt family and attended Camp Mystic in Kerr County tragically lost her life during the flooding over the weekend.

Clark’s wife, Tavia Hunt, shared the heartbreaking news on social media, expressing their grief over the tragedy and the loss of many lives in Wimberley. The Hunt family, like many others affected by the floods, is mourning the loss of their young family member and supporting each other through this difficult time.
