Kit Harington has joined the star-studded cast of Hulu’s upcoming limited series adaptation of Sophie Stava’s novel “Count My Lies.” The actor will be starring alongside Lindsay Lohan and Shailene Woodley in the highly anticipated series.
In “Count My Lies,” Harington will be taking on the role of Jay Lockhart. The series follows the story of compulsive liar Sloane Caraway, played by Woodley, who lands a nanny position for the beautiful and charming Violet, portrayed by Lohan, and Jay Lockhart. However, as Sloane delves deeper into the household, she uncovers a web of secrets that could have catastrophic consequences for everyone involved.
Harington is no stranger to the small screen, having previously starred in the hit HBO financial drama “Industry.” He has also made appearances in Netflix’s “Too Much” and will be starring in the BBC One/MGM+ miniseries adaptation of “A Tale of Two Cities” in 2026. Of course, Harington is best known for his iconic role as Jon Snow in the groundbreaking series “Game of Thrones.”
On the big screen, Harington has appeared in films such as “Eternals” and “The Death & Life of John F. Donovan.” Most recently, he starred in the Apple film “The Family Plan 2.” The talented actor is represented by CAA, United Agents, Shafran PR, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
The adaptation of “Count My Lies” is being helmed by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who will also serve as executive producers through The Walk-Up Company. Both Lohan and Woodley will not only star in the series but also executive produce. Antonio Campos is set to direct and executive produce the series, with Scott Morgan of The Walk-Up Company also on board as an executive producer. Sophie Stava will be producing the series, with 20th Television serving as the studio.
