Lamont Roach Jr. has a piece of advice for Gervonta Davis if they have a rematch – stay away from the hair grease!
TMZ Sports recently interviewed the lightweight boxing contender at Fanatics Fest in NYC and asked about the potential rematch with Tank after their controversial first fight.
The fight ended in a majority draw, with Tank keeping his title, but many fans believed Lamont deserved the win.
During the fight, Davis took a knee in the fourth round after a shot from Roach Jr., but it was not ruled a knockdown and no points were deducted.
The fight continued after the unusual moment, with no further interruptions.

Lamont is focused on moving forward and is not interested in revisiting that moment if they have a rematch on August 16, as reports suggest, despite Davis not yet signing the contract.
Roach Jr. believes there may be some hesitation on Davis’ part to face him again, suggesting that he may be worried about being embarrassed in the ring.
“I wouldn’t say he’s scared of me as a man, but he’s scared to get embarrassed. That’s his problem,” Roach Jr. stated.
