The Left’s Unease: Lou Prevost and the Rise of Pope Leo XIV
The far-left media, along with their comrades in the Democratic Party, appear to be experiencing a collective meltdown. This frenzy was triggered by the revelation that Lou Prevost, the straightforward Floridian sibling of the newly appointed American Pope Leo XIV, is not only a devout Catholic but also unabashedly aligned with the MAGA movement.
Hailing from Port Charlotte, Florida, Prevost embodies the essence of a forgotten American—living with faith, cherishing freedom, and upholding the First Amendment.
However, the leftist media has been on a relentless hunt through Prevost’s social media presence since his brother’s elevation to the papacy, desperately searching for any misstep to exploit. What they unearthed instead was a passionate American patriot unafraid to express himself, and frankly, it’s a sight to behold.
Prevost shared a video featuring a support group for those apparently afflicted with “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” captioning it:
“For my upset, crying, and left-leaning friends and others suffering from TDS, this service seems right for you.”
But the plot thickens—especially for Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts.
On April 4, Prevost resurfaced a video showcasing a younger Pelosi advocating for tariffs on China, illuminating the stark 180-degree reversal that Pelosi and her Democratic allies have executed to cater to globalist interests.
The original post pulled no punches, stating, “These fing liberals crying about tariffs is just unreal. Do they not know that there is a thing called video? Just listen to what this drunk c has to say in the mid-90s long before her husband had Grindr dates.”
also highlighted Prevost’s transparent admiration for Donald Trump.
“Obama and the Democrats. They suck. They’re one very small step from being full-blown communists, longing for the total destruction of our way of life and turning this country into a dictatorship, and a racist one on top of it.”
Meanwhile, his brother, Pope Leo XIV, has engaged in the Republican primaries.
Al Jazeera reported:
The Will County clerk’s office provided PolitiFact with Prevost’s voter information, confirming his party affiliation as “undeclared.” He has voted in the Republican primaries for 2012, 2014, and 2016. In the 2024 general election, he voted absentee, maintaining his undeclared status.
The viral screenshots shared by Kirk and others on X stem from L2, a subscription-based database aggregating consumer and voter data. L2’s profile of Prevost lists “Republican” in its “party” category.
It remains unclear how L2 ascertains party affiliation for individuals residing in states like Illinois, where such information is not disclosed in voter registration. L2 did not respond to PolitiFact’s inquiry.
Despite his involvement in Republican primaries, Pope Leo XIV has publicly critiqued certain policies of the Trump administration, particularly regarding immigration.
