Lena Dunham added a splash of color to her best friend Taylor Swift’s much-anticipated wedding to Travis Kelce.
Dunham, 40, wore two custom ensembles during the wedding festivities with the Kansas City Chiefs star. She began with a cropped lime green blazer by Amber Doyle, adorned with a series of bows along the zipper, paired with a matching skirt.
The Famesick author completed her striking look with matching pointy-toed shoes and a ballet pink handbag.
Later, Dunham changed into a unique Christian Cowan outfit consisting of a black maxi skirt and a deep magenta blouse with long, billowing sleeves, accentuated by a large periwinkle fabric flower on her lapel.
Dunham celebrated Swift, 36, on her wedding to Kelce, also 36, starting with a private rehearsal dinner on Thursday, July 2, followed by a grand wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, July 3.
Both Swift and Kelce donned bespoke Christian Dior outfits for their vows.
A press release shared with Us Weekly stated, “The bride and groom’s wedding looks have been crafted by Christian Dior Haute Couture. Jonathan Anderson, the Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s, and Haute Couture Collections, worked closely with the couple.” This marked the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a globally renowned celebrity. The couple’s shoes were made by Christian Louboutin, and the bride adorned Cartier jewelry.
The couple exchanged vows before nearly 1,000 celebrity guests. Alongside Dunham, notable attendees included Girls creator’s former partner Jack Antonoff, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Alba, Baker Mayfield, Selena Gomez, and Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who joined in celebrating the newlyweds.
“They cried, laughed, danced, hugged, and kissed,” Swift’s aunt, Robin, shared with LBC News from her car, noting there was an abundance of food.
