The 7th edition of the Lille Dialogues is set to take place on March 27, as part of the industry program of the television festival Series Mania. This day-long international summit brings together senior executives from leading companies such as France Télévisions, ITV, M6, Warner Bros. Discovery, and ARTE, to discuss the current challenges facing the TV industry and encourage international cooperation.
The event will kick off with a welcoming address from Series Mania President Anne Bouverot, followed by panel discussions and keynotes delivered by top industry executives. The focus of this year’s Lille Dialogues will be on Post Peak TV: Challenging times ahead, with topics including AI funding and audience changes.
According to Laurence Herszberg, founder and general director of the event, the audiovisual industry is currently facing three major challenges: a funding crisis, a sociological shift towards social platforms among younger generations, and the impact of artificial intelligence. The Lille Dialogues aims to provide a platform for industry leaders to discuss these challenges and explore collaborative solutions.
The themes for the panel discussions at Series Mania 2025 include the impacts of advertising budget on content creation, the AI revolution and its implications for the industry, developing critical thinking in viewers in the age of deepfake and algorithms, and the challenges of the 2026 AVMS revision.
Speakers lined up for this year’s panels include industry experts such as Erik Barmack, CEO of Wild Sheep Content; Marianne Carpentier, Head of Emerging Technologies at TF1; and Femke Wolting, Showrunner & Co-Founder of Submarine.
The event will also feature keynote addresses from key industry players, including Bruno Patino, CEO of ARTE; Delphine Ernotte Cunci, CEO of France Télévisions; Ruth Berry, President of International Distribution at ITV Studios; David Larramendy, Chairman of the management board at M6 Group; Rodolphe Belmer, CEO of TF1 Group; and Gerhard Zeiler, President of International at Warner Bros.
