Fitness influencer and self-proclaimed “Liver King” found himself in hot water after a series of bizarre social media videos led to his arrest in Texas. Brian Johnson, known for his unconventional diet and intense workout routines, was charged with making a terroristic threat and taken into custody in Austin.

The incident unfolded as Johnson posted videos challenging popular podcaster Joe Rogan to a fight, even traveling to Rogan’s home state of Texas. Rogan, who moved to Austin in 2020, resides in a lavish $14.4 million mansion in the city.

Details surrounding Johnson’s arrest remain scarce, but footage shared on his Instagram page captured the moment he was handcuffed and placed in a patrol car, with his wife Barbara Johnson looking on. In the videos leading up to his arrest, Johnson can be seen pacing frantically, talking about prison, arrest, and his desire to fight Rogan.

Despite his lack of formal training in martial arts, Johnson continued to call out Rogan in his videos, challenging him to a fight on multiple occasions. He even went as far as wearing a wolf pelt in one video as he issued the challenge to the black belt Jiu-jitsu practitioner.

It is unclear whether Rogan’s involvement played a role in Johnson’s arrest, but the influencer’s unhinged rants against the podcaster certainly raised eyebrows. Johnson’s diet, which included animal liver, testicles, and fertilized chicken eggs, along with his alleged use of steroids, had garnered attention in the fitness community.

However, leaked emails revealed that Johnson was spending a significant amount on steroids to achieve his physique, despite claiming otherwise. He later admitted to experimenting with testosterone and human growth hormone.

Johnson’s journey was even featured in the Netflix documentary “Untold: The Liver King,” showcasing how he built his social media following and supplement empire. Despite his controversial methods and legal troubles, Johnson’s influence in the fitness world remains significant.

The “Liver King” may have found himself in a sticky situation with his arrest, but his larger-than-life persona and unconventional approach to fitness continue to capture the attention of his followers and critics alike.
