Lot of people in AEW unhappy with MJF’s controversial statement

MJF, known for his exceptional mic skills, recently stirred controversy with a statement that reportedly upset some within AEW. During his return to the company in Manchester almost a month ago, MJF cut promos on Swerve Strickland, Samoa Joe, and ‘Hangman’ Adam Page. The most talked-about moment came when he compared Swerve to controversial rapper P. Diddy.

Reports from The Wrestling Observer and Fightful Select indicate that the company was not aware of MJF’s statement beforehand and was not pleased with it. It is unclear whether any action was taken or if the AEW World Champion was spoken to about the incident.
