Love Is Blind season 3 alum Brennon Lemieux has officially filed for divorce from his wife, Alexa Lemieux, as confirmed by Us Weekly. In the petition filed in November, Brennon cited that their marriage had become “insupportable” due to conflicting personalities that made reconciliation unlikely. He also requested to retain any assets he had before their marriage.
The couple tied the knot in June 2021 during the third season of Love Is Blind, which aired on Netflix the following year. Their daughter, Vienna, was born in July 2024. Alexa, who has not responded to Brennon’s petition, announced their separation on December 3.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Alexa expressed that after much reflection and conversations, they had decided to end their marriage. She emphasized their commitment to coparenting Vienna and their mutual respect for each other. Despite their decision to part ways, they remain supportive of one another and dedicated to prioritizing their daughter’s well-being.
Brennon’s divorce documents also mention his intention to reach a written agreement with Alexa regarding custody and child support for Vienna. If an agreement is not reached, he has requested the court to make necessary arrangements for the child’s care and support.
The couple had previously garnered attention on Love Is Blind for their discussions around signing a prenuptial agreement, which they ultimately did not do. Alexa clarified in a social media video that the idea of a prenup was brought up by Brennon to protect her, but she was not interested in it. Brennon, on the other hand, had no issue with Alexa’s decision and expressed his willingness to sign one if she desired.
Their relationship dynamic was showcased on the reality show, with Brennon highlighting his desire to be actively involved in his children’s lives and prioritize family time. Despite their differences, the couple’s focus remains on navigating the divorce process with compassion and ensuring the well-being of their daughter.
As they move forward individually, Alexa and Brennon have requested privacy and understanding during this transition period. Their journey as a married couple may be ending, but their commitment to coparenting and supporting each other remains unwavering.
