Love Island USA‘s Jen Terry and Kenzie Annis aimed to avoid a conflict after both expressed interest in the same “older man” in the villa.
In the episode aired on Thursday, June 25, Jen’s connection, Gal Tshnieder, engaged Kenzie in a conversation, which did not sit well with Jen. She was not pleased with Kenzie — who had been interacting with other guys — exploring a potential relationship with her partner.
Kenzie defended her decision in a confessional, revealing her attraction to someone older than herself. (Gal is 29, while Jen is 23, and Kenzie is 24.)
The two friends had a discussion to sort out their differences, but it remained uncertain which contestants they would ultimately pursue. Kenzie is also still technically paired with Corbin Mims, having experienced many ups and downs on Love Island USA.
Initially, Kenzie formed a connection with Zach Georgiou and later recoupled with Corbin. However, America intervened and switched her partner to Caleb McDaniel. She reunited with Corbin shortly before he left for Casa Amor.
Love Island USA features a group of singles who must partner up to stay in the luxurious villa. The contestants, called Islanders, live isolated from the outside world under constant video surveillance. To remain on the show and compete for the $100,000 prize, they must be coupled up.
While the Islanders are filmed continuously for weeks, viewers watch daily episodes and cast votes that impact the couples and the contestants’ futures.
Prior to the episodes airing, Peacock issued a message encouraging viewers to be kind.
“The Villa runs on good vibes, and so does this community. We love seeing your reactions, opinions, and debates, but everyone deserves to feel safe and respected,” stated their message. “This is a space for fun, not negativity – so keep it kind, keep it positive, and remember: this is LOVE Island!”
Host Ariana Madix has also addressed viewers who have taken their frustrations too far online.
“I do want to say something to some of those people who are online,” she remarked during a June 2025 episode of Aftersun. “Don’t be contacting people’s families. Don’t be doxxing people.”
Ariana expressed concerns over social media behavior.
“Don’t be going on Islanders’ pages and saying rude things. You still have time to delete all of that because the Islanders don’t have their phones,” she advised. “So we are giving you a chance because this is a fun, amazing, and beautiful show. We should be thanking each one of these Islanders every single day for giving us themselves.”
New episodes of Love Island USA are available six days a week — except Wednesdays — on Peacock.
