The recent murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson has sparked a wave of threatening messages targeting other CEOs across the nation. Graffiti reading “Free Luigi” has been spotted in public areas like a New York City subway station, in reference to alleged killer Luigi Mangione who has been charged with Thompson’s murder.

Additionally, the phrase “Deny, Defend, Depose” has been painted on buildings and public spaces, symbolizing the words reportedly written on the bullets used in Thompson’s murder. These messages serve as a chilling reminder of the violence that has shaken the business community.

In Seattle, an electronic roadway sign displayed a stark warning to chief executives, stating, “One Less CEO, Many More to Go.” This ominous message suggests a broader threat to executives at major corporations, instilling fear and uncertainty in the business world.

According to reports by KOMO News, the sign in Seattle is not owned by a government entity but belongs to a private construction company. The company launched an investigation into the message, although it had already been removed by the time they arrived.

The murder of Brian Thompson has garnered global attention, with support for Mangione growing as he awaits trial. The aftermath of this tragic event has left a lasting impact on the corporate world, highlighting the risks and challenges faced by top executives in today’s society.
