A former elementary school teacher from Wisconsin, Madison Bergmann, 25, broke down in court as she acknowledged her disturbing actions of engaging in inappropriate behavior with an 11-year-old pupil, which led to several charges being dropped in a plea deal.

Bergmann entered a guilty plea to one charge of child enticement and two charges of sexual misconduct involving school staff during her hearing on Monday, according to documents reviewed by The Post.

The former fifth-grade instructor at River Crest Elementary School had additional allegations dismissed, including first-degree sexual assault of a minor, using digital devices to facilitate a sex crime against a child, and exposing a child to harmful content.

Reportedly emotional, Bergmann was seen wiping her tears during the court proceedings, as captured by KARE11’s coverage.

The allegations came to light when the boy’s mother overheard a conversation between her son and the teacher on the phone, as detailed in the criminal complaint.

After checking their child’s phone, the boy’s parents found explicit messages that revealed several inappropriate interactions within the classroom during lunch and after school.

According to reports, Bergmann expressed her pleasure in the physical interactions and “making out” with the child.

Furious, the boy’s father confronted the school, armed with printed copies of the explicit conversations.

Upon investigating Bergmann’s classroom, authorities uncovered a folder with the victim’s name that contained handwritten notes detailing their intimate encounters.

Bergmann’s wedding, planned for July 2024, has been canceled due to the shocking nature of the allegations, leaving her fiancé, Sam Hickman, blindsided.

Bergmann is set to receive her sentence on December 22, 2025.

There has been no immediate response from her legal counsel regarding the situation.
