In a much-anticipated foray into podcasting, Madonna candidly shares her insights on spirituality.
“To achieve true success, one must embrace a spiritual life. That’s just the reality,” declares the iconic 67-year-old artist during the new episode of the “On Purpose with Jay Shetty” podcast, airing on September 30, as detailed in a report from People on September 28. “Without it, I simply wouldn’t be where I am today.”
In her inaugural podcast episode, Madonna and host Jay Shetty engage in a heartfelt discussion about her spiritual journey, which she attributes to the arrival of her first child, daughter Lourdes.
“The question I often ask myself is: What have I done for others? That’s the key to genuine success in life,” Madonna reflects in the same interview, highlighting her advocacy efforts and their profound impact on her existence.
“True enlightenment often shines brightest amid darkness, revealing profound truths” she elaborates. “In a dimly lit room, flicking on a light is a transformative act. In a space that’s already bright, the effort seems trivial. Should we not then seek out dark corners?”
Madonna continues, “My soul’s mission is to illuminate the world through all I undertake. I strive for abundance, but I wish to share it, never to hoard it.”
