Grosso criticized Vance for choosing “MAGA over Jesus” and for failing to promote peace, unity, and empathy in the face of such tragedies. He accused Vance of prioritizing divisive political messaging over the teachings of the Gospel, labeling his actions as a “moral stain on our collective witness of Catholicism.” Grosso emphasized that Vance’s behavior is not in line with true Catholic values and urged people of faith to reject his actions.
