Comedian Drew Desbordes, known online as “Druski,” has sparked conservative outrage after releasing a video in which he applied white makeup to parody “conservative women.” The sketch appeared to target Turning Point USA’s Erika Kirk.

Clay Travis, the founder of the conservative media outlet OutKick, expressed his disapproval on X, stating, “Erika Kirk’s husband was assassinated in September. It’s March & a black comedian is putting on white face & mocking her in a video.”

Druski, 31, previously stirred controversy with a video last year where he portrayed himself as a white NASCAR fan who was “just proud to be an American.”

In his latest video, “How Conservative Women in America Act,” Druski dons a blonde wig and heavy makeup to portray a white woman. Although he did not mention dressing as Kirk, many online drew parallels between his character and the Turning Point USA CEO.

The video starts with Druski’s character entering a stage to loud music and pyrotechnics, in an outfit resembling what Kirk wore to her late husband Charlie Kirk’s memorial service in Arizona, which also included fireworks.

The video further depicts Druski’s character holding press conferences, talking about the war in Iran, driving a car with Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” playing, holding a Bible during an interview, and doing Pilates.

In one mock press conference, Druski’s character says, “We have to protect all men in America, especially all white men in America.” This scene mirrors Kirk’s speech at the Arkansas governor’s mansion, where she stated, “Don’t let anyone disenfranchise you because you’re a young man — especially a young, white male man.”

The sketch gained widespread attention, attracting hundreds of millions of views on X. While many viewers found it humorous, some MAGA-aligned conservatives expressed their dissatisfaction.

Senator Ted Cruz from Texas, who had previously faced online ridicule for liking a pornographic video on his Twitter account, criticized the sketch as “Beneath contempt.”

Jon Root, a right-wing influencer and contributor to OutKick, labeled Druski a “despicable human being.”

Joe Concha from Fox News reacted by telling Druski to “Enjoy your time in hell.”

Despite the criticism, conservative podcaster Candace Owens, who has critiqued Kirk in the past, found humor in Druski’s skit during Thursday’s episode of her show.

“This is how everybody’s feeling,” Owens said, reacting to the skit. “Everybody for the first time. It’s not left or right. It’s like everyone’s united and feeling this. It feels fake. It feels wrong.”
