President Trump Announces Ukraine Will Pay Back $350 Billion to US

President Donald Trump made a surprising announcement to reporters before heading to the Daytona 500. In a brief Q&A session, President Trump revealed that Ukraine would be paying back the estimated $350 billion that the US had sent to the Zelensky regime.

This announcement marks a significant development in the ongoing relationship between the US and Ukraine. President Trump emphasized that Ukraine’s poll numbers were not particularly great and acknowledged the country’s struggles in the face of attacks from Russia. Despite the challenges, President Trump commended the bravery of the Ukrainian army and highlighted the substantial financial support provided by the US and Europe.

According to President Trump, the US has contributed $350 billion to Ukraine, while Europe has provided $100 billion in the form of a loan. President Trump expressed his concern about the security of the funds and mentioned that the Secretary of Treasury was working on ensuring that the money would be repaid. He emphasized the need for security on the investment, pointing out Ukraine’s resources such as raw earth, oil, and gas as collateral.

President Trump also criticized the previous administration’s approach to aid to Ukraine, stating that money was handed out without proper security measures. He stressed the importance of securing the funds and ensuring that future aid to Ukraine would be protected.

The President’s announcement has garnered attention on social media, with reports indicating that Ukraine has turned down the latest offer for the return of the $350 billion. The proposal, which involved an agreement on rare earth metals, was put forth by US Treasury Secretary Bessent.
