Zendaya recently commented on the AI-generated wedding photos of her and Tom Holland that gained attention after her stylist, Law Roach, claimed earlier this month that the couple had married.
The star of âEuphoriaâ and âSpider-Manâ appeared on âJimmy Kimmel Liveâ on Monday night, where the host addressed the marriage rumors. âIâm sure you know the internet has gone berserk with stories that you might actually be married to Tom,â Kimmel mentioned.
âReally?! I havenât seen any of that!â Zendaya responded with sarcasm. Though she did not confirm the marriage, an engagement ring and wedding band sparkled on her left hand.
When Kimmel brought up the AI photos, Zendaya laughed and noted that âmany people have been fooled by them.â
âI was just out and about in real life and people were like, âOh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous.â And I was like, âBabe, theyâre AI. Theyâre not real!’â she added.
The actor mentioned that âmany peopleâ she knows were also tricked by the AI images and were upset they didnât receive an invitation. Zendaya then humorously shared a video of her and Hollandâs alleged wedding, which was actually a clip from her new movie âThe Dramaâ with Hollandâs face superimposed over co-star Robert Pattinson. âA little something to just clear the confusion,â Zendaya said with a playful smile.
During the interview, Kimmel also inquired about the upcoming Spider-Man film âBrand New Day,â in which she stars alongside Holland. She revealed sheâs seen âa good amountâ of the movie, set for release on July 31, and âI feel very good about it.â
She continued: âItâs such a huge part of our story, obviously, and we grew up making those films. And itâs such a privilege to be able to do them. I know Tom cares so much about the role and doing it justice.â
When Kimmel praised Holland as the âbest Spider-Man ever,â Zendaya blushed and responded: âIâm biased, but yes!â
