Four-star offensive tackle Grayson McKeogh has officially committed to Notre Dame’s 2026 recruiting class, choosing the Fighting Irish over offers from Texas and Penn State. The La Salle College standout from Glenside, Pennsylvania made his decision known during an official visit to South Bend over the weekend, solidifying his choice to join Marcus Freeman’s program.

Standing at an impressive 6-foot-7 and weighing 275 pounds, McKeogh received an offer from the Notre Dame coaching staff in late March and visited the campus unofficially in April. During his visit, offensive line coach Joe Rudolph and head coach Marcus Freeman made it clear to McKeogh that they saw him as a perfect fit both culturally and athletically for the program.

In an interview with On3, McKeogh expressed his excitement about joining the Notre Dame family, stating, “I just feel that it’s where I fit in best. All those guys that surround the program feel like me and are people who I can surround myself with for the next couple years. You are who you surround yourselves with and aside from the great academic and football prestige that’s what they’ve got.”

McKeogh also highlighted the strong player-coach connection he felt with Freeman and the bond he formed with offensive analyst Rob Delaney during his visit. According to Rivals, McKeogh is ranked as the No. 210 prospect in the nation, the No. 23 offensive tackle in the 2026 class, and the No. 4 recruit in Pennsylvania.

With McKeogh’s commitment, Notre Dame’s 2026 class now boasts 17 commits, including standout players like interior offensive lineman Tyler Merrill. The Irish currently hold the No. 5 national ranking for their recruiting class and have assembled one of the strongest offensive line groups in the cycle, with McKeogh joining fellow four-star recruits Merrill, Gregory Patrick, Sullivan Garvin, and Ben Nichols.

McKeogh’s decision to commit to Notre Dame comes on the heels of linebacker Thomas Davis Jr. reaffirming his commitment to the program earlier in the day. Additionally, the Fighting Irish are eagerly awaiting the decision of McKeogh’s high school teammate, four-star safety Joey O’Brien, who is set to announce his commitment on Friday.

Overall, McKeogh’s commitment solidifies Notre Dame’s position as a top destination for top-tier recruits in the 2026 class. With a strong emphasis on both academics and athletics, the Fighting Irish continue to attract talent from across the country, setting themselves up for success in the years to come.
