Margaret Cho recently opened up about her decades-long rift with fellow comedian Ellen DeGeneres. In a candid interview on the “Kelly Mantle Show” podcast, Cho revealed that DeGeneres had been “weird and not nice” to her throughout her career. Despite opening for DeGeneres in the 1980s and appearing on her talk show in the 2000s, Cho felt that DeGeneres always acted as if they had just met, which she found unsettling.

One incident that stood out to Cho was when she wore a “giant Chinese emperor outfit” to a David Bowie concert, and Bowie complimented her outfit during a taping of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” However, the entire segment was cut from the episode, leaving Cho feeling frustrated and hurt.

Cho expressed her disappointment, stating, “It made me so mad. The producer had to call and tell me that she cut it out of the show. But you need to know that he was going on and on about your outfit! God said your name. It’s so rude!” Despite not knowing the reason behind the cut, Cho couldn’t help but take it personally.

Cho is not the only comedian to have issues with DeGeneres. Rosie O’Donnell also shared her past disagreements with DeGeneres, emphasizing the importance of unity among LGBTQ+ comedians in the face of increasing threats and discrimination. O’Donnell wished DeGeneres well but acknowledged that they had unresolved issues from the past.

Kathy Griffin has also been vocal about her feud with DeGeneres, expressing her feelings of “epic loathing” towards the talk show host. Griffin attributed some of her animosity to jealousy but made it clear that she will never receive the same kindness from DeGeneres that she has shown towards her.

DeGeneres has kept a low profile since relocating to the English countryside following Donald Trump’s election victory. While she occasionally shares updates from her farmhouse on social media, she has largely stayed out of the public eye.

The rift between these comedians serves as a reminder of the complexities of relationships in the entertainment industry. Despite their differences, each comedian has taken steps to move forward and focus on their own paths. As they navigate their respective careers, they continue to advocate for unity and support within the LGBTQ+ community. The world of technology is constantly evolving, with new innovations and advancements being made every day. One of the most exciting and rapidly developing areas of technology is artificial intelligence (AI).

AI is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. It encompasses a wide range of applications, from speech recognition to self-driving cars. The potential of AI to revolutionize industries and improve our daily lives is immense.

One of the key areas where AI is making a significant impact is in healthcare. AI has the potential to transform the way we diagnose and treat diseases, making healthcare more efficient and effective. For example, AI-powered algorithms can analyze medical images such as X-rays and MRIs to detect abnormalities and diagnose conditions with greater accuracy than human doctors. This can lead to earlier detection of diseases and better outcomes for patients.

AI is also being used to develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their individual characteristics and medical history. By analyzing large amounts of data, AI can identify patterns and trends that human doctors may not be able to see. This can lead to more targeted and effective treatments, reducing the risk of side effects and improving patient outcomes.

Another area where AI is making a big impact is in the field of transportation. Self-driving cars, powered by AI algorithms, are already being tested on roads around the world. These vehicles have the potential to reduce accidents and traffic congestion, as well as make transportation more accessible to people who are unable to drive themselves.

AI is also being used to improve the efficiency of logistics and supply chain management. By analyzing data on factors such as weather, traffic, and consumer demand, AI-powered systems can optimize routes and schedules to reduce costs and improve delivery times.

In the field of finance, AI is being used to detect fraud and make investment decisions. AI algorithms can analyze vast amounts of data in real time to identify suspicious patterns and alert financial institutions to potential risks. This can help prevent fraud and protect consumers’ financial assets.

Overall, the potential of AI to revolutionize industries and improve our daily lives is immense. As AI technology continues to evolve, we can expect to see even greater advancements in the future. It is important for policymakers, businesses, and society as a whole to consider the ethical implications of AI and ensure that it is used responsibly and ethically. With proper regulation and oversight, AI has the potential to bring about positive change and improve the world in ways we never thought possible.
