Just weeks ago, Marisa Abela exchanged vows with Jamie Bogyo, but the actress has already swapped her bridal gown for a chic McQueen suit. “That day truly was the best of our lives, and it took me about a week to stop beaming like a goof,” Abela shared with Vogue. The newlyweds, however, are back to business and are eyeing a honeymoon during the holiday season. “We celebrated our one-week anniversary with dinner in London, and then Jamie went to Chichester to start directing his first play as a writer!”
While Abela prefers a timeless and cozy style, she leans towards outfits that incorporate “a hint of something to give it a unique, sexy, or whimsical touch.” At the spring 2026 McQueen show at Paris Fashion Week, the Industry star felt perfectly at ease in her ensemble. “I wore a tailored black suit with an external corset. For those who know me, my love for impeccable tailoring and a bit of the vampiric vibe is no secret,” she noted. “So… bingo.”
Regarding her favorite runway pieces, Abela was particularly impressed by look 10, which featured an off-white corseted midi dress with intricate lace-up detailing and ruched cups. “So stunning and brilliantly made,” she stated. But her interests didn’t stop there. “All the jackets as well… it was phenomenal.”
Afterward, Abela and her friends enjoyed dinner at Ojii. Even amidst her busy schedule, she has her Paris plans organized. “I love exploring the different neighborhoods. I usually start with morning window shopping at Rue Saint-Honoré, then lunch in Le Marais followed by some vintage finds, and then a museum visit. Evenings are spent in the 6th,” she expressed. “Pure bliss.”
