Mark Sanchez‘s former partner and mother of his child is speaking out after the ex-NFL star faced criminal accusations. She emphasizes her main focus is the well-being of their son.
Model Bobby T, whose real name is Erin Campaneris, has an 8-year-old son, Daniel, with Sanchez. On Instagram, she acknowledged the serious nature of the charges against her son’s father but highlighted her commitment to protecting Daniel from any negative impacts.
“My top priority has always been and will always be our eight-year-old son,” she stated, mentioning that she chose to remain silent initially to protect Daniel. However, with the situation now public, her concern for his safety has not changed.
In a heartfelt message, Erin explained that she found out about the alleged incident “through a news alert” while next to Daniel, admitting she only knows what has been reported publicly and stating that the situation is “devastating” for all involved.
“My heart and thoughts are with the victim and all those affected by this incident,” she remarked. She added that the news has caused a significant “ripple effect” impacting many lives.
Erin also expressed understanding of the public’s interest in the case, hoping that as her son matures, he can be recognized for who he is beyond this narrative.
In closing, she reminded everyone about what is truly important, stating, “At the end of the day, I’m just a mother to a sweet young boy, striving to maintain his peace. I appreciate the kindness shown towards Daniel and myself.”
As previously reported by TMZ, Sanchez was released from the hospital and subsequently taken into custody, where he was photographed for his mugshot after a violent incident over a week ago.
