The Chaos in LA: A Dissection of Progressive Political Strategy

Guest post by Marly Hornik, CEO USA4Freedom (aka United Sovereign Americans).

In the past weeks, the violent unrest in Los Angeles may have inadvertently provided a powerful insight into the underlying dynamics of progressive politics. Ironically, while the rioters aimed for social justice through chaos, they have instead revealed the precarious political strategies that threaten to undermine the very foundation of our society.

Supporters of these disruptive actions, often labeled as “Progressives,” have harnessed a century’s worth of idealistic rhetoric to consolidate power. However, their promises of a utopian society are built on the shaky ground of rights that are not explicitly enshrined in the U.S. Constitution.

Take, for instance, the right to property. While the Constitution guarantees protection for property, it stops short of endorsing ownership itself. Progressives cleverly maneuver this gap by positing that property ownership—or, as FDR termed it, “freedom from want”—is essential for liberty. This not-so-subtle shift transforms a government that was intended to be limited into one that has the potential for unchecked authority and legalized expropriation.

The assertion of a supposed right to housing necessitates an army of bureaucrats and experts to dictate how such housing should be constructed. This bureaucratic overreach, masquerading as a form of social justice, ironically undermines localized charitable efforts in favor of a bloated government solution.

Progressives have deluded themselves into thinking that funding these expansive social programs is an endless pursuit, which has culminated in a troubling immigration strategy. Facing declining birth rates—a potential consequence of advocating for “freedom from pregnancy”—they have turned to mass immigration as the only viable solution to sustain their vision of progressivism.

The gamble on American identity and sovereignty is stark: Progressives seem to believe that a significant influx of new immigrants will seamlessly provide the labor needed to fund entitlement programs like Social Security and Medicare. Yet, this strategy risks inviting chaos and societal fragmentation.

As Los Angeles grapples with unrest, a noticeable resistance emerges against providing military protection for citizens caught in this progressive quagmire. The irony is that leaders, such as Governor Gavin Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass, often cloaked in the robe of benevolence, seem more concerned with sustaining their political base than genuinely addressing the crisis.

The narrative extends further, particularly in the realm of public health mandates. During the pandemic, American schoolchildren faced stringent medical requirements, while undocumented immigrants were often exempt from such rules, raising questions about equity and allegiance. Would these immigrants have reconsidered their choices had they faced the same burdens as citizens?

Moreover, evidence suggests that undocumented individuals are indeed participating in California’s electoral process. Research conducted by USA4Freedom, which scrutinized data from Secretary of State Shirley Weber’s office, indicates that yes, undocumented voters have cast ballots—over 60,000 in Orange County alone, according to their findings. A staggering number of votes appear to have come from individuals lacking any verifiable identity in the system.

If not undocumented immigrants and fictitious personas, then who is casting these votes? The Progressive agenda seems to be tethered to a surreal political landscape, one where the integrity of elections is compromised in the pursuit of an idealistic vision.

While quantifying the full extent of this electoral debacle is complex, estimates suggest that as much as 35% to 48% of votes counted statewide may be illegitimate. The team at USA4Freedom, comprising seasoned data auditors, meticulously reviews election records to determine the legitimacy of voters and their ballots. Their findings suggest a significant breach of trust in the electoral process—a breach that puts the very principles of representative democracy at risk.

As the Trump administration endeavors to reinstate the principle of limited government, organizations like USA4Freedom are committed to ensuring that the upcoming midterm elections in 2026 uphold the integrity of our democratic systems. They are actively engaged in litigation and advocacy aimed at restoring a government that genuinely represents its citizens.

Join us in this crucial fight for electoral legitimacy—choose action and awareness over despair.
