Martin Gramatica, the legendary kicker, has voiced his support for Justin Tucker despite the Baltimore Ravens star’s recent struggles. In an interview with TMZ Sports, Gramatica emphasized his belief that Tucker is simply going through a rough patch and will bounce back in time for the team’s playoff run.

“He’s going to snap out of it,” Gramatica stated confidently. “There’s no question that he knows how to kick. He’s done it forever.” Tucker, known for his consistency, has faced challenges this season, making only 19 out of 27 field goal attempts and missing two extra points. His performance against the Eagles, where he missed three crucial kicks, raised concerns among fans and analysts.

Despite the setbacks, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has reiterated his support for Tucker. Gramatica echoed this sentiment, comparing Tucker to Tom Brady in the kicking world. “He’s the Tom Brady of kicking. He’s that guy. You have to let him work through it,” Gramatica explained.

Speculating on the cause of Tucker’s struggles, Gramatica suggested that it might be a temporary physical issue affecting his mechanics rather than a mental block. He praised Tucker’s mental fortitude, describing him as one of the strongest and toughest players he has seen in the NFL.

As the Ravens enjoy a bye week, Tucker will have time to regroup before their next game against the Giants on December 15. Gramatica remains confident that Tucker will overcome this rough patch and return to his usual form.

The support from a veteran like Gramatica is a testament to Tucker’s talent and resilience. Despite the challenges he faces, Tucker has the backing of his peers and coaches as he works to regain his kicking prowess on the field.
