Matthew Stafford‘s on-field misfortune might just be a blessing in disguise for his wife, Kelly. She humorously commented that the painful hit he took against the Eagles during Sundayâs game could double as a “free vasectomy.”
Kelly, who has been wed to Stafford since 2015, shared this amusing anecdote on her podcast “The Morning After,” revealing how Matthew described the mishap post-game.
After the game, Kelly recalled asking her husband, âWhat happened? Are you alright?â To which he humorously replied, âYeah, I got my nuts crushed.â
Despite the seemingly excruciating incident, Kelly found a bright side to the story.
She recounted, “I looked at him and said, ‘Well, thatâs Godâs way of facilitating your vasectomy since you havenât done it in two years. So thank you, Jesus!'”
“Praise God! There’s no need for a vasectomy right now because God just took care of it.”
Matthew, 37, and Kelly, 36, are proud parents of four daughtersâtwins Sawyer and Chandler, Hunter, and their youngest, Tyler, born in June 2020.
Earlier this year, Kelly candidly discussed the challenges of raising four children, admitting that she finds solace in cannabis edibles and wine to navigate the whirlwind of motherhood.
With that context, it makes Kellyâs âvasectomy jokeâ all the more relatable!
