Meghan King, known for her time on “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” recently made headlines after allegedly losing custody of her three children to her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds. The custody battle stemmed from an incident where King reportedly gave one of her twin sons, Hayes, unprescribed medication multiple times, specifically Ritalin, despite the child not having an ADHD diagnosis.
The situation escalated when King allegedly asked the school nurse to administer the medication to Hayes as well, prompting a Child Protective Services investigation. As a result, King was granted supervised visitation twice a week with Hayes, his twin brother Hart, and their older sister, Aspen.
A temporary restraining order was put in place after a school employee raised concerns and contacted CPS. A custody hearing is scheduled for early December to determine a more permanent solution. King and Edmonds, who got married in 2014 but split in 2019 following a cheating scandal, have been co-parenting under a joint custody agreement since May 2021.
Representatives for Meghan King have been reached out to for comment, but there has been no response yet. On the other hand, a representative for Jim Edmonds declined to provide a statement on the matter.
The initial report on this incident was first covered by Page Six. This development has sparked public interest and raised questions about the well-being of the children involved. As the legal process unfolds, the focus remains on ensuring the best interests of the children are prioritized in the custody arrangements.
