Meghan Markle’s latest career move appears to be struggling, as her 300-person Australian wellness retreat has not sold out despite a push in last-minute ticket sales, RadarOnline.com reports.

The ex-Netflix star aimed to make a significant profit by hosting a “fireside chat” Q&A session with fans willing to pay thousands for the chance to meet the “Diva Duchess.” However, with the “Her Best Life” event set to begin tomorrow, tickets remain available.

Event host and organizer Gemma O’Neill informed Instagram followers of “final last-minute availability” for the retreat, which starts at Sydney’s InterContinental Coogee Beach Hotel on April 17.

“If you want to nab a final spot at our Her Best Life retreat, DM us now,” advised the talent manager, even though tickets have been on sale since March 10.

She also mentioned the hotel now has more “solo” rooms, having initially offered only shared twin-bed rooms where attendees would share with strangers.

The retreat’s high prices remain unchanged, with “early bird” tickets at $1,930 and VIP seats at $2,288. The VIP package includes a table closer to the stage for Markle’s Q&A and a “group table photo” with her. The Los Angeles native is not participating in other activities like yoga, manifestation workshops, sound-healing sessions, or the gala dinner.

Markle’s husband, Prince Harry, faced a similar challenge, as he did not sell out a workplace mental health summit where he was the keynote speaker on April 16.

The duke spoke at the for-profit InterEdge Summit in Melbourne, and photos showed empty tables in the venue.

Tickets, initially priced at $2,378 for Platinum and $1,978 for Gold packages, were later reduced. On April 6, a “Delegate” package was introduced at $997 or a virtual participation option for $498, both providing access to Harry’s speech.

Harry and Markle arrived in Australia on April 14 for a four-day visit.

They began by flying from Los Angeles to Melbourne to visit sick children at the Royal Children’s Hospital, which some critics viewed as an “exploitive public relations opportunity.”

The couple, dressed in elegant, polished outfits, appeared like working royals, with Markle wearing a $105K ensemble adorned with expensive jewelry.

Besides taking photos with children battling cancer, the With Love, Meghan star wore the outfit to a women’s homeless shelter, where she helped serve a frittata lunch.

Critics commented on Markle’s choice of attire, questioning why someone would wear such costly clothes to a shelter.

“Why wear something so expensive to a refuge giving out meals to women who haven’t got a bloody home?” one user scoffed on X.

Harry and Markle’s shift to paid speaking engagements follows setbacks in other ventures.

Netflix has severed financial ties with Markle’s As Ever brand after canceling her lifestyle series, intended as a promotional vehicle for niche food items.

The streaming giant ended their exclusive deal in August 2025, reducing their involvement to a “first look” project option.

Additionally, the couple lost their $20 million Spotify deal in 2023, with the head of talk strategy labeling them as “f—— grifters.”
