The latest project taken on by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry couldn’t have come at a more crucial time for the pair. Ever since their departure from the royal family in 2020, they have been struggling to establish themselves professionally. Markle, 44, in particular, has faced challenges with her various endeavors and rebrands failing to meet expectations.
Markle’s first podcast, Archetypes, was canceled after just one season in 2023, and her second podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, went on hiatus in June. In addition, her lifestyle brand As Ever and Netflix show, With Love, Meghan…, have received mixed reviews, with the latter not yet renewed for a third season.
According to a source from RadarOnline.com, Markle is “desperate” for a breakthrough, and both she and Harry, 41, are well aware of the high stakes involved in their latest venture.
“This is a critical moment for them,” the source stated. “The success of this project is crucial, as failure could mean starting from scratch for Meghan, and that’s putting it mildly.”
