Meghan Markle shared a heartfelt reflection on her life through a recent social media update.
On April 25, Meghan, who is 44, posted on her Instagram Story, highlighting how Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius are concluding the toughest seven years of their lives on that day. The post included a video of two men dancing to Celine Dion’s “That’s the Way It Is.” As a Leo, Meghan’s birthday falls on August 4.
Continuing her interest in astrology, the Duchess of Sussex shared a second post on the same day, revealing her horoscope for April 25.
The post expressed, “The struggle between your true self and how others perceive you has been draining beyond words for those who haven’t experienced it. Your self-assurance faced undeserved challenges. You doubted your creative path, your visibility, your value.”
The horoscope ended on a positive note, stating, “On April 25th, the burden eases. You gain the freedom to simply be without having to fight for it.”
There has been speculation among royal observers that Meghan’s posts might allude to the intense public scrutiny she’s faced since marrying Prince Harry in 2018. The couple decided to step back from their senior royal duties in 2020 and have since moved to the United States.
Meghan’s revealing Instagram updates were shared a few weeks after she and Harry, 41, openly discussed the impact of social media on their lives during a visit to Australia.
While interacting with young people at Batyr, a mental health charity at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Meghan revealed she endured daily bullying and attacks on social media for a decade. She even described herself as “the most trolled person in the entire world” at one point.
“Now, I’m still here,” she emphasized. “And when I think of all of you and what you’re experiencing, I think so much of that is having to realize that you know that industry, that billion-dollar industry, that is completely anchored and predicated on cruelty to get clicks — that’s not going to change. So you have to be stronger than that.”
Harry supported his wife’s account of her social media experiences, highlighting that it has contributed to widespread loneliness. He candidly shared his own mental health challenges, mentioning, “I waited until I was literally in the fetal position, much older, lying on the kitchen floor,” before deciding to try therapy.
