Hyperallergic Celebrates the Holiday Season with Exclusive Member Event at the Gochman Family Collection
As the holiday season approaches, Hyperallergic is gearing up to celebrate with a special event for its dedicated members. Taking place at the prestigious Gochman Family Collection in New York, this exclusive gathering promises an evening filled with art, conversation, and camaraderie among Hyperallergic staff and members.
The Gochman Family Collection stands out as a private lending collection that focuses on contemporary art, particularly showcasing the works of Indigenous and American artists. With a strong emphasis on anti-colonial and Indigenous-centered art, the collection provides a platform for marginalized voices to be heard and celebrated. On December 12, guests will have the opportunity to engage in a thought-provoking discussion with artist-in-residence Rachel Martin and Jeremy Dennis, both of whom have their work featured in the collection. Hyperallergic’s Editor-in-Chief Hrag Vartanian will lead the conversation, offering insights into the artists’ creative processes and inspirations. Following the discussion, guests will embark on a guided tour of the collection led by director Zach Feuer and curatorial associate Moonoka Begay, who brings a unique perspective as a Ndéé + Diné artist.
This exclusive event is open to Hyperallergic members only, with Friend and Patron level members receiving priority invites to select events throughout the year. If you’re a member and interested in upgrading your plan or have any questions, simply reach out to us at membership@hyperallergic.com for assistance.
The evening promises to be a memorable one, filled with engaging discussions, captivating art, and the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for the arts. As we come together to celebrate the holiday season, Hyperallergic extends its gratitude to its members for their continued support and dedication. Here’s to a festive and art-filled evening at the Gochman Family Collection!
