The 2025 Met Gala Celebrates Black Style and Tailored Fashion
The highly anticipated 2025 Met Gala red carpet is officially open, welcoming guests to celebrate a night of fashion and art. This year’s event is particularly special as it coincides with the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s spring 2025 exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” The exhibition focuses on the influence of menswear and suiting in Black fashion.
The dress code for the gala, aptly named Tailored for You, draws inspiration from the exhibition’s theme, encouraging attendees to showcase their take on tailored fashion.
