AI is revolutionizing the way code is written at Microsoft and Google
During a recent fireside chat at Meta’s LlamaCon conference, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella revealed that 20%-30% of code inside the company’s repositories was “written by software” — in other words, AI. Nadella shared that Microsoft has been making strides in AI-generated code, with Python showing more progress compared to C++. This aligns with the company’s goal of leveraging AI to enhance productivity and efficiency in coding processes.
