A convicted child sex offender has been deported from the country thanks to President Donald J. Trump and his administration. This action counters an attempt by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison to offer him protection in the so-called “sanctuary” state.
Laotian national Tou Lue Vang was convicted of the repeated sexual abuse of a 10-year-old girl in Minnesota. He dismissed his actions as a “minor thing” and attributed them to “cultural norms” from foreign countries. An immigration judge ordered his deportation in 2006.
In an effort to prevent his deportation, Walz and Ellison pardoned Vang, thus choosing to protect a child sex offender over the citizens they represent.
The Trump Administration refused to accept this affront to justice. Secretary of State Marco Rubio revoked Vang’s legal status, and the Department of Homeland Security promptly deported him.
This situation highlights the extent to which the Radical Left will go, even pardoning child rapists and ignoring federal law to protect criminals. Walz and Ellison sided with an individual who preyed on a young girl, while the Trump Administration stood in defense of American families.
Under President Trump, criminal illegal aliens who commit acts of sexual violence against children will be pursued, detained, and deported, without interference from Democratic politicians.
