Illinois Mother Accused of Giving Birth to Child with 14-Year-Old Boy
An Illinois mother, Robyn Polston, 43, was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal sexual assault and possession of child pornography after allegedly giving birth to a child conceived with a 14-year-old boy, who her own daughter took as a date to their junior high dance.
The investigation began after a complaint was received when Polston gave birth in January 2025. Police discovered that the child’s name matched the middle and last name of her alleged victim, despite Polston claiming the father was a man named Brian.
Further investigation revealed that the victim and Polston’s daughter attended a dance together in May 2023, where Polston was a chaperone. The victim later moved back to the area before the child’s birth, and phone records uncovered explicit images and videos of Polston and the teen.
Prosecutors argued that Polston’s family enabled the relationship, and she was ordered held without bail pending her court appearance on December 4.
Her attorney did not respond to requests for comment.
