Money-Hungry Bandits Smash Car Window and Steal $20,000 in Brooklyn Heist
In a shocking daylight robbery in Brooklyn, a pair of money-hungry bandits went to extreme lengths to steal $20,000 from a 70-year-old man. The incident took place in Cobble Hill on Jan. 31 at around 12:15 p.m.
According to police reports, the victim was driving when the two assailants approached his car and attempted to break the passenger-side window by punching it. Despite the victim driving away, the thieves pursued him in a Mercedes-Benz SUV and eventually blocked his car on Court Street near Degraw Street.
