Monster Hunter Wilds players are eagerly awaiting the launch of Title Update 2 (TU2), which will bring two new monsters to the game: the popular Lagiacrus and the flying menace Seregios. The servers for the game are currently down for maintenance in preparation for the update. The good news is that TU2 will be a free update for all players who already own Monster Hunter Wilds.
At the time of writing this article, the server maintenance is still ongoing, and TU2 has not yet been launched. Players are wondering when they will be able to dive into the new content once the maintenance is over.
According to the latest information, the server maintenance for Monster Hunter Wilds is expected to conclude by 9:30 PM PT on June 30, 2025. Once the maintenance is complete, players will need to download a mandatory patch on all platforms to update the game with the TU2 content. While the exact size of the patch is not known, it is expected to be substantial due to the amount of new content being added.
It’s worth noting that players will need to be at least HR 31 to access the hunts for Lagiacrus and Seregios. If your Hunter Rank is lower, you may need to engage in other activities and increase your rank before taking on these new monsters. Additionally, TU2 will introduce layered weapons to Monster Hunter Wilds, giving players more options for visual customization to showcase their unique Hunter style.
For more information on Monster Hunter Wilds and the upcoming TU2 content, players can stay tuned for updates and announcements. And once the servers are back online, don’t forget to download the patch and start hunting down the new monsters. Happy hunting!
