This week, former President Trump seems to have accumulated an impressive list of achievements that might require a scoreboard to track. Not only did the much-discussed Big Beautiful Bill pass, but the June jobs report revealed figures that were not merely positive; they were outstanding. The metrics surpassed expectations across the board.
Even CNN found itself in a quandary, struggling to unearth any negative angle.
Townhall reported:
It’s remarkable what can transpire when a competent leader occupies the Oval Office. Under President Trump, the U.S. economy continues its trajectory of revitalization and growth. Gone are the days of inflated statistics from President Drool-in-Soup, who, as we later discovered, fabricated nearly a million nonexistent jobs during his ‘Build Back Better’ era of dubious optimism. The June jobs report marked yet another substantial victory for the Trump agenda, significantly exceeding expectations (as noted in the WSJ):
The U.S. job market continued its steady growth last month, defying economists’ predictions of a hiring slowdown amidst uncertainties surrounding trade and fiscal policies.
In June, the United States added 147,000 jobs, as reported by the Labor Department on Thursday, significantly outpacing the anticipated increase of 110,000 jobs according to economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal.
The unemployment rate, derived from a separate household survey, dipped from 4.2% to 4.1%.
Now, observe as CNN is compelled to report this positive development, albeit with a lack of credit given to Trump. Their spin, however, could hardly mask the good news:
CNN: “We were expecting a slowdown. We did NOT get that!”
These figures were achieved WITHOUT the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill.

CNN’s John Berman appeared almost crestfallen as he conveyed this news to his viewers:
CNN’s Berman lamented: Predictions of job losses and inflation resulting from tariff policies have not materialized:

The media has been predicting an impending economic apocalypse for months. Remember when they claimed Trump’s tariffs would send the economy into a tailspin? Quite a laugh, in retrospect.
