Mormon Wives’ Whitney Leavitt and Husband Conner’s Relationship Timeline

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt and her husband, Conner Leavitt, have faced their fair share of challenges together.

Their journey began in the early 2010s when Whitney served her Mormon mission in Georgia, coincidentally where Conner’s family resided at the time.

“What a coincidence! How amazing is that?” Whitney recalled during an interview with Vulture in May 2025, sharing that she had been connected with Conner’s family during her mission. “I have memories of being in his home.”

However, they didn’t dive into dating immediately. It wasn’t until 2015 that they officially crossed paths, both serving as wingmen for their friends on a double date. When their friends backed out, Whitney and Conner discovered a spark between them.

After dating for a year, Whitney and Conner exchanged vows in a Mormon temple located in Provo, Utah.

In 2022, nearly six years after marriage, Conner revealed he faced porn addiction issues. Consequently, the couple departed from Utah for two months to reassess their marriage.

Whitney and Conner tied the knot after one year of dating.

“Not your typical bridal photoshoot,” Whitney captioned a fun photo on Instagram, featuring the couple enjoying hamburgers from In-N-Out while dressed in their wedding attire.

November 2019

The couple welcomed their first daughter, Sedona, into the world in November.

December 2021

After giving birth to their son Liam, he faced a hospitalization due to RSV during the initial stages of Whitney’s emerging TikTok presence.

“The early days were frightening, but things improved. To lighten the mood, I decided to create a video,” Whitney shared on Mormon Wives, adding that her viral video showcasing accidentally inappropriate behavior drew criticism for seeming insensitive during a tough time. “Many felt I was exploiting my child’s illness for attention.”

July 2022

Amid the controversy surrounding MomTok’s “soft-swinging scandal,” Whitney and Conner escaped to Hawaii. Although the Leavitts were not part of the swinging debacle, it was a time of healing following Conner’s struggle with pornography addiction.

“I truly love that man,” Whitney expressed during her appearance on “The Squeeze” podcast in 2024. “Conner faced a long battle with his addiction, and while it was incredibly tough, the challenging experience ultimately strengthened our relationship. I wasn’t even aware of his struggles at the time. Overcoming something like that brings you closer—while it’s tough, I am immensely grateful for where we are now.”

During this period, Conner maintained a secretive Tinder account to connect with others, sparking speculation about his sexuality.

“Do I need to release a sex tape or something? Trust me, things are fine. We’re good,” Whitney reassured during the “Off the Vine” podcast in October 2024, addressing the rumors.

September 2024

The premiere of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on Hulu featured Whitney and Conner’s new life in Utah and Whitney’s pregnancy with their third child (who was revealed to her mother via a hidden pregnancy test inside a cake).

By the end of the season, Whitney decided to step back from MomTok, though she revised her stance during the second season premiere of Mormon Wives in May 2025.

October 2024

Whitney welcomed their third child, son Billy Gene, into the world.

“We are thrilled to finally have our family complete,” she shared with People. “We’ve always desired three children, and it feels perfect now that they are all here.”

July 2025

At the Mormon Wives season 2 reunion, Conner revealed painful childhood experiences of sexual abuse, with Whitney supporting him throughout.

“Conner and I had discussed this beforehand, and I felt it was vital to share our story, especially as it might resonate with others. Ultimately, I wanted him to have the choice, as it is his story—albeit one that dramatically impacted me as well,” Whitney shared with Vulture regarding her support for her husband.

September 2025

This season, Whitney was cast on Dancing With the Stars, partnering with pro dancer Mark Ballas. Throughout rehearsals, Conner and their kids have been cheering for “Team Whark It.”
